  Civilian Sack Coats   This fatigue blouse has been a project fifteen years in the making. Way back in 1992 I
  Officer Sack Coats   spotted the original blouse that our version is based on in the North South Trader. At that
    time, I thought that it would be neat to offer a version of this with a greater variety of available options.

While the original coat was worn by an Artillery officer and appropriately trimmed in red, our version is trimmed in Electric Blue with red being an available option.

Features are available in many options. Pockets can be added to the outside or inside.
Collar insignia is available in either English imported Gold Braid or branch of service color.
We have a variety of different lining options available ranging from polished cotton to homespun check. Also available in Cadet Grey Broadcloth and a variety of Jeans and Satinettes.

Why have I offered so much variety in this sack coat ? Historically, garments worn by officers in Confederate service were of private purchase.What this means is that all of the Officers garments were generally made to the purchasing officers requirements. For that reason, you see so much variety in existing Officers garments.

I don't want my customer to feel locked in to purchasing the one specific garment pictured. I want you as an Officer to have the same amount of variety that your 19th century counterpart had.
