Features: Fully hand sewn. This shirt has been copied from the existing original in the Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond. It should be noted that this shirt is a first generation reproduction, meaning that it is a copy of the original shirt and not a copy of someone else's reproduction.

Notes and patterns for this shirt were drafted straight from the original piece, not copies of a facts sheet as some reproductions manufactured today are.

We have had the correct stamps made for these shirts which feature the correct size and style of lettering along with the correct date of manufacture.

The only difference in our shirt and the original is in the buttons which are constructed from bone as were the originals.Our shirt uses a four hole button and the original shirt used a three hole button.

Quantities of this fabric is very limited, and each shirt is manufactured on a custom order basis. Wait time for this shirt may be 10-12 weeks. Because of the relative scarcity of this fabric ( it is not Ticking fabric) it is suggested that you order now to ensure receiving one.
